This experience is based mainly on its local gastronomy, but known in the rest of Aragon, and more specifically on its star dish “pickled rabbit”, locally produced wine and local products.
The experience will include the participation of several local companies working in cooperation to publicize the best of the municipality. Thus, a pickled rabbit company, a wine company, the Carlos bar-restaurant, which has been making the typical pickled rabbit recipe for more than 60 years and offering it to customers in Spain and the rest of the world, and a tourism house rural “La Casa del Médico” join forces in favor of the municipality.
The experience can be carried out every month of the year, allocating one weekend of each month for it, and it would always be done with prior registration since it requires coordination of resources, both human and material, to carry it out.
It is a show-cooking or gastronomic workshop in which the participants will learn to cook the pickled rabbit from Castejón de Valdejasa while they will taste some of its best wines and will stay at the rural tourism house “La Casa del Médico”.
