THE EXPERIENCE
On the traces of the Glacier combines the conservation and study of the Cotiella Rocky Glacier. A research project that takes us through lakes, rocks and landscape that tells us the geological history of our Pyrenees and our own history.
The participant lives an ecotourism experience, as it reverts directly in conservation. A percentage of each activity is destined to pay for the research and may be the southernmost active rocky glacier in Europe.

IN DETAIL
Family Experience Routes:
An interpreted walk with interactive activities and adapted for all audiences, ending at the Armeña refuge, where we will do our tasting of local products while enjoying the Glacier Circus. Approximately 4.30 hours of duration.
Mirador del Glaciar Routes:
An interpreted route of about 700 m of elevation gain that culminates with the magnificent view of the North Face of Cotiella and where we can carefully analyze the shapes of our Rocky Glacier and the Valley we have walked, while we enjoy a tasting of Pyrenean products and discover the ins and outs of the study we are doing. 6 hours of duration.
At the edge of the glacier:
This route, the most demanding and approximately 1000 m of slope takes us to the glacier itself, allows us to live and feel it while we learn more about it, the environment and discover the ins and outs of the study we are living. Approx. 8 hours of duration.
