THE EXPERIENCE
Bodegas Sommos, located in the Somontano PDO, presents an innovative wine tourism adventure: ‘VolanDO Sommos’, combining adrenaline and wine culture.
Guests can soar over the winery and vineyards aboard a paramotor—a lightweight powered aircraft with a paraglider wing—flown by a certified professional pilot. During the flight, you’ll take in breathtaking views of the vineyards and the Pyrenees mountains. All safety equipment is provided to ensure comfort and security.
After landing, you’ll savour a tasting of wines from the Colección range, made from the very plots you flew over. This exclusive activity, developed in collaboration with the Aragonese company Cierzo Flight, promises an unforgettable perspective on Somontano’s landscape and wines, blending the thrill of flight with the authentic flavours of the region.
This activity, organised by Bodegas Sommos with Cierzo Flight Co., is designed for groups of 2 or more participants, although only one person flies with the pilot at a time. While you wait, you can relax with a guided tasting of wines from the vineyards below.
