THE EXPERIENCE
The Mas de Bunyol Bird Observatory, located in Valderrobres, is an immersive experience dedicated to the conservation and observation of scavenger birds—especially vultures.
Founded by José Ramón “Buitreman” and Loli over 30 years ago, this sanctuary was born out of their passion for protecting these majestic birds.
The main experience centres around watching vultures feed—a unique opportunity to learn about their impressive flight, breeding habits and essential role as nature’s clean-up crew.
Visitors can also stay overnight in a beautifully restored, sustainable farmhouse inside the reserve, and enjoy a simple yet comfortable lifestyle in the heart of nature.
The observatory is open year-round by prior reservation. The daytime activity is suitable for children aged 4 and up, while the full experience with accommodation is recommended for ages 12 and over.
