THE EXPERIENCE
Barbastro as a city of wine needs to carry out activities in which tourism and wine are linked together. This original activity intends, through the expressivity of wine, to show us the historical-artistic sites of Barbastro in a different way.
The expressiveness of a wine is when the wine, in addition to aromas or winemaking process, tells us about its origin, its land, the climate that has accompanied it, the territory where it is born.
Accompanied by a guide we make a tour that based on this expressiveness combines, compares and accompanies the wine and the gastronomy of Somontano with the different tourist resources of Barbastro.
A tour that takes place every Saturday morning from April 1st to November 1st from 10h to 14h.

Somontano Wines Tasting
Three different wines will be tasted during the visit:
– Chardonnay, introduced in Somontano by the Lalane family in 1893.
– Cabernet – Sauvignon rosé, Somontano created the first quality rosé in the early 90s.
– Merlot, the most important grape variety in this area.
