March 1943, hidden in a secret room, waiting for the sound of the German soldiers’ boots to fade away. The swastika flutters at the Canfranc International Station. Laurent Juste, head of customs, Jana Belerma, hotel chambermaid, and the bandit Esteve Durandarte risk their lives to return them to freedom.Jana and Esteve fought for thousands of Jewish citizens to escape through this mythical station. For thousands of people persecuted by the Nazi regime, hope was called Canfranc.
