THE EXPERIENCE
Travel by low speed panoramic train and hiking in the mid-mountains with geologist guides, to discover and understand the wonders of the Pre-Pyrenees.
The train crosses the gentle plains of the Hoya to the heart of the outer mountain ranges of the Pre-Pyrenees. You will be able to enjoy different perspectives of the surroundings of the mythical Mallos de Riglos, Peña Ruaba, La Peña reservoir and the middle valley of the Gállego. A complete experience of nature tourism, ecotourism and slow tourism, in a little known and surprising scenery.
Available between May and October. Maximum group size 25 people.

Travel by low speed scenic train
In the morning: participants board the train. Although it is a regular train, the wagon for the Geological Train is well identified on the outside and inside.
The guides join the train at Huesca station and the interpretative tour of the train ride begins, as an introduction to the territory, its history, etc.
Duration of the outward journey by train is approximately 1 hour.Middle mountain trekking with geologist guide
Arrival at the station where the trekking itinerary begins. We get off the train and start walking, guided by the geologists who will read us the landscape. Each stop is a journey through time that can mean having advanced 100 million years…
Total duration (with stops, including refueling): 5 hours.Return home
Mid-afternoon: arrival in Riglos. Time for a snack and then we take the train back home.
