THE EXPERIENCE
This digital detox experience on the Planerón Steppe in Belchite invites you to reconnect with nature through a guided tour led by an expert biologist.
You’ll have the chance to slow down and fully experience the landscapes, flora and fauna, paying attention to the details and sounds of this unique ecosystem. The tour begins at the Ebro Valley Steppe Interpretation Centre and includes between 4 and 8 interpretive stops, where you’ll learn about the reserve’s history, management and remarkable biodiversity.
The focus is on endangered species such as the Dupont’s lark (Ricotí lark), the black-bellied sandgrouse and the little bustard, all of which have adapted to survive in this harsh environment of drought, strong winds and intense sunlight.
The experience concludes with a visit to a restored lambing shed, reflecting on the traditional and sustainable uses of the land. Tours last between 3 and 4 hours and are recommended in spring or autumn.
