A unique experience in the country that gives you the possibility to sleep in full nature under the starry sky of the Pyrenees in winter. The activity begins by making a snowmobile route or sled pulled by Nordic dogs in a spectacular snowy landscape.
We will build an igloo where you can spend the night in the purest Eskimo style, in the most comfortable way, enjoying the snowy mountains, the moon and the stars to dawn in a fabulous environment.
And we will also taste typical Aragonese products of the Tena Valley in the heat of the fire in a mountain refuge. All this accompanied by professionals.
The client is picked up at the agreed time and a transfer from Tramacastilla town to the activity area is carried out in our 4 × 4 vehicles. In this first contact is made a presentation of the team in charge of the group and a description of the day
Once we arrive with the 4 × 4 to the activity area, where we will give an explanation of the operation of the motorcycles. When the group is equipped and ready, it begins a nocturnal route until the refuge of shepherds of Port Escarra. The route runs through the now snow-covered forest track, making driving simple but not less exciting, along the route stops are made at the most spectacular sites where details and stories of the area are explained.
Little by little, the route advances towards the destination. We arrived at the shelter. When opening the door we will meet a person who welcomes us with a hot broth and the fire on. It’s time to get warm and relax.
After a snack, it’s time to take shelter again … Play an igloo with everyone! With the help of a monitor and in the surroundings of the refuge, the construction of the igloo is proceeded. We think that in each igloo sleeps 2-3 people, so we form groups to work as a team and collaborate in the construction of what will be our room for one night.
When they are finished they are equipped with all the material necessary for their subsequent use, all this once more; among all.
After the exercise and the cooperative “work” outside, it is time to return to the shelter where we will see how native products are cooked with authentic mountain cooks’ trousers, railway pans, skewers, slate … to start a dinner with products typical of Aragon; such as the Migas to La Pastora and Ternasco to the ember. All served with wines from the land and other typical products and kilometer 0.
After dinner we give way to a moment of relaxation together. At this point we always see great interest on your part, mostly urbanites, stories of the Valley, ways of life, services in a high mountain environment and so on. For our part we are happy to transmit our experiences and knowledge of the environment, generating a warm and relaxed.
It is time for everyone to retire to their chambers. The technical material we have ensures a comfortable night and especially hot in the igloos. Point out that part of the team sleeps in the shelter and is available to the client and prepared for any incident.
There is not a set time to wake up, but there are many who wake up at dawn (and some who need to wake up!) Wake up in the middle of winter, in the heart of the Pyrenees almost 2000 m. altitude is something to live, words are short and the emotion of those who live it is great. We give way to breakfast where we share impressions with the participants. Breakfast consists of coffee, infusions, pastries, juices, fruit …
After breakfast, the participants collaborate in the collection of the materials of their igloo and after their personal cleanliness and equipment we return to the snowmobiles to start a new route, this time daytime. If the night before we were overwhelmed by the excitement and surprise when circulating in the dark helped by the lights, frontal and with luck; the moon, now is the time to appreciate the immensity of the Partacua Valley in all its splendor. Being the second route and performing it by day, we enter into plains where participants, within a limit, can squeeze more motorcycles and feel the adrenaline of speed always within a limit.
